DO I NEED TO MAKE A SPA APPOINTMENT?
Yes, it is always advisable to make an appointment for your spa session in advance. A deposit may be necessary to ensure the availability of your treatment with the preferred time slot reserved. Walk-ins are accepted, however it is always subject to availability.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time. We would like to have a chat with you on your appointment and get you settled prior to your scheduled spa treatment(s). This is to ensure you get the best out of your spa treatment(s).
WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY SPA APPOINTMENT?
If you’re running late, do call us right away so that we can try to make the necessary adjustments to ensure that you can still enjoy the full duration of the scheduled treatment. We will hold your appointment for up to 15 minutes from your scheduled time.
SHOULD I SHAVE BEFORE A TREATMENT?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
SHOULD I SHOWER BEFORE A TREATMENT?
Having a shower is recommended for hygiene reasons which help you to enjoy your spa treatment(s) and achieve ultimate relaxation. However, it is not necessary if you are clean.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR DURING MY TREATMENT? DO I HAVE TO DISROBE ENTIRELY FOR MY SPA TREATMENTS?
We ask that you disrobe completely for your body treatment(s). For your comfort, disposable underwear and a bathrobe are provided. Our therapists are trained to appropriately drape you for privacy.
WHAT ABOUT MY JEWELLRY AND VALUABLES?
We advise you to remove all jewellry prior to your arrival at the spa. Lockers are also available within the spa for you to place your personal valuables.
WHO CAN GUIDE ME IN CHOOSING MY TREATMENT(S)?
Our spa receptionist will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order in which to enjoy your treatment(s).
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE FOR TREATMENT(S)?
Guest under the age of 18 years old will require written parental consent and must be at least 12 years old to receive spa treatment(s).
CAN I BRING MY CHILD INTO THE SPA?
A child below the age of 12 years old must be accompanied in the treatment room or in the waiting room. We kindly ask that you arrange for childcare prior to your visit in order for you and our other guests to receive the full benefit of relaxation and the atmosphere of the Spa. Â
DO YOU HAVE TREATMENTS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
Yes. We recommend treatment(s) such as traditional massage, milk bath, manicure and pedicure or salon treatments such as hair spa.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Grand Majesty Batam does not practice a cash refund policy. If cancellation is made before 24 hours’ notice to your scheduled treatment(s), you may be issued a spa voucher for the unused amount of 1-year validity. Otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.
WHAT ABOUT PAYMENT FOR SPA SERVICES?
The spa treatments and services rates are quoted in the respective currencies and subject to prevailing government taxes. Cash and all major credit cards are accepted.Â
DO I HAVE TO TIP THE THERAPISTS?
Our prices do not include any service charge. If you choose, you may opt to leave a tip as an appreciation of the therapist services.
MAY I USE MY CELLPHONE IN THE SPA?
Our spa promotes an environment of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect the quiet ambiance and privacy of other spa guests by switching your mobile to silent mode or switching off if possible. If you need to pick up an urgent call, you may visit our visitor lounge area and do so. Your co-operation will go a long way to making your spa experience and those of others an indulging one every time.

WHAT DOES A DEPOSIT FOR AN APPOINTMENT MEAN?
A deposit is necessary to secure availability of therapists and facilitate a smooth experience for all your booking arrangements on certain conditions i.e. Group Bookings, Weekend, Public Holiday or Peak Season. A proof of bank transfer is required to confirm the deposit confirmation. We do not request any deposit payment via any app or payment link.

MAY I SMOKE AND CONSUME ALCOHOL IN THE SPA?
Smoking and consumption is not permitted in the spa premises. We recommend that you refrain from consuming alcohol within eight hours of your treatment.
WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS?
Please notify the spa receptionist upon making your appointments as well as the therapist before receiving your spa treatment(s). If the treatment(s) is not recommended, we will advise you accordingly.
SHOULD I LET SOMEONE KNOW IF I HAVE ANY ALLERGIES OR PHYSICAL AILMENTS?

WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT? SHOULD I AVOID VISITING IF I'M PREGNANT?
Please inform our Spa Receptionist upon scheduling your treatment(s). We have treatments suitable for expectant mothers that focuses on lower back as well as your legs.Â
It is only recommended for women who are pregnant after their first trimester of pregnancy, 4 months and above.
CAN I BRING MY OWN PRODUCT FOR THE TREATMENTS?
Unfortunately, we may not be able to cater to your request. We can only use products that we are trained and specialised in.
CAN I CHOOSE A MALE OR FEMALE THERAPIST?
Yes, kindly indicate upon booking the gender of your therapist. However, it may be subjected to the availability and suitability of the spa treatment(s).
DO YOU CATER TO BIG GROUP BOOKINGS?
Yes. We do have vacancies for big groups. We have a capacity of 26 and 17 guests at any one time for a massage at Grand Majesty respectively.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I VISIT THE SPA?
It all depends on your specific needs and spa treatment(s) you have chosen. Some of our guests would visit us frequently and some come as and when they can find the time. We are here to help you feel relax and at ease so that you can fully enjoy your spa experience with us.
HOW CAN I GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR SPA THERAPY?
Communicate with our spa therapist and let us be informed on the areas to focus on and as well as areas to avoid. Exercise deep breathing is highly recommended during your spa treatment to relax your mind and enliven your body. Allow the spa therapist to work on tight areas and knots by relaxing and loosening up your body. Communicate with our spa therapist for any discomfort at any time during the treatment.
AM I ABLE TO BUY SPA TREATMENTS AS GIFTS?
Certainly, and with such an exquisite and comprehensive range of some of the most sought-after spa treatment(s) in Batam, our Spa Voucher(s) and Spa Gift Certificates will always be a memorable experience for the recipients.

CAN GRAND MAJESTY ASSIST TO BOOK THE FERRY TICKETS?
Yes. We are able to assist with the request. However, this option is only made available to the guest of Grand Majesty. The travel details (DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL PORT as well as the timing) and the passport details (PASSPORT NUMBER, FULL NAME, GENDER, DATE OF BIRTH, DATE OF ISSUE and EXPIRY, COUNTRY OF ISSUE AND NATIONALITY) will be required to make a reservation of the ferry ticket(s). The payment for the ferry ticket(s) has to be paid before we can make the reservation.
HOW FAR IS THE FERRY TERMINAL FROM YOUR SPA?
Traffic condition may vary. During non-peak hour, it will take about 20 minutes from Batam Center Ferry Terminal to Grand Majesty Batam
DO YOU HAVE FREE TRANSPORT?
We are able to provide transportation within Batam city if you or your group has a minimum of 4 hours of spa treatment(s) with us. For areas outside of Batam city (Sekupang or Nongsa), we have discounted transport price for you.
HOW DO WE RECOGNISE AND CONTACT THE DRIVER?
We will provide you with vehicle number and mobile contact for easy communication. If you do not have a local SIM card and you are travelling to Batam Center Ferry Terminal from Singapore, you may use our Spa Central WIFI that is available near the BatamFast Ferry Counter. The instruction and password for login will be given to you before your departure.

HOW MANY ROOM TYPES DO YOU HAVE?
- We offer five room types:
– Executive Room: Queen-size bed with private jacuzzi (hot and cold water).
– Deluxe Room: Queen-size bed, couch, and bathtub.
– Standard Room (Queen): Queen-size bed and couch.
– Standard Twin Room: Two single beds.
– Family Room: One queen bed, one bunk bed, a couch, and a bathtub. Suitable for two adults and two children.

We provide complimentary pickup transfers to our spa for the following areas:
Batam City (Batam Centre, Nagoya, Harbourbay)
Available for a minimum of two guests, with at least two hours of treatments per person.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
- Direct bookings with Grand Majesty:
– Cancellations made 7 days or more before the check-in date are refundable.
– Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Bookings made through third-party platforms (via Agoda):
Please contact Agoda directly for any changes or cancellations, as their policies may differ.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
Pets are not allowed in the hotel rooms.
